Natural colors have become more important to consumers and evidence suggests that consumers prefer food and beverages that are organic, natural, healthy and try to consume natural colors. Most clean labels don’t have artificial colors and worldwide, most consumers said they are concerned about the long-term impact of artificial ingredients. Manufacturers and suppliers need to be compliant when formulating and labeling natural colors, work together to overcome regulatory challenges and be transparent with consumers to meet the growing demand for natural colors.
