The ninth annual international HerbDay is Saturday, May 3 and will honor the many uses of herbs in everyday life.
HerbDay was launched in 2006 by the HerbDay Coalition to raise awareness abut the significance of herbs and how they are used to enhance health, beauty and cooking. The HerbDay Coalition includes the American Botanical Council (ABC), American Herbalists Guild (AHG), American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP), American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) and United Plant Savers. Everyone is encouraged to participate in HerbDay 2014 and can show support by hosting, sponsoring and/or attending an event. Past events have been health a retail stores, schools, farms, garden centers and public parks world wild and include workshops, lectures, cooking demonstrations and more.
