Rainbow Light Donates Protein Energizer to Tornado Victims

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. Rainbow Light partnered with actress Olivia Munn to support disaster relief efforts following the recent Oklahoma tornadoes.

Their partnership donated Protein Energizera powder nutritional shake offering a source of plant-based protein and energyto support the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Munn visited her home state to present the donation, valued at $25,000, at the Moore Distribution Center on June 8, 2013.

"My heart broke as I watched the tornadoes and storms rip through my home state of Oklahoma," Munn said. "It's the Oklahoma way to help each other, especially in times of crisis. I feel a deep responsibility to help local residents who were affected by the recent storms, and want to encourage more people and organizations everywhere to get involved."

Rainbow Light's donation provides approximately 180,000 servings of much-needed protein, with energizing B vitamins, herbs, fiber and super-foods, to residents and volunteers.
