AUSTIN, Texas--The American Botanical Council's HerbalGram magazinewas a finalist in the Utne Reader 11th Annual Alternative Press Award.The magazine was nominated in the "Personal Life Coverage" category.

"The fact that we were nominated speaks well for the quality of ourpublication," said Mark Blumenthal, HerbalGram editor.

In other news, the American Botanical Council has released HerbalMedicine--Expanded Commission E Monographs. It is designed to be a companionto The Complete German Commission E Monographs.
