Tishcon Joins USP, NSF Certification Programs

WESTBURY, N.Y.Tishcon Corp.joined the U.S. Pharmacopeias (USP) Dietary Supplement Verification Program(DSVP), becoming the sixth company to do so. Tishcon will initially submit fourQ-Gel coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) products for review: Q-Gel 15 mg, Q-Gel Forte 30mg, Q-Gel Ultra 60 mg and Q-Gel Mega 100 mg.

DSVP is a vital program that will allow our customers tohave the assurance that they are receiving a superior product, said Raj K.Chopra, president and chief scientific officer for Tishcon (www.tishcon.com).By receiving the DSVP mark, we also will tell consumers that the product wasverified by an independent, highly regarded and respected organization.

Tishcon also announced the same four Q-Gel supplements werecertified by NSF International. The certification verifies the products meet label and safetyclaims. We are pleased to be certified by NSF in its quality certificationprogram and look forward to adding other products to the list in the very nearfuture, Chopra said.
