Beneo Plant Earns First IFS Certification

PEMUCO, ChileBENEO announced its plant in Pemuco, Chile, was awarded its first International Food Standard (IFS) certification, with a score of 99.36%.

Dr. Matthias Moser, Member of the Executive Board, is very pleased by BENEOs constant high standards: We are delighted to see that already, after its first audit, our plant in Pemuco has proven its high quality standard with such excellent scores."

BENEOs plants in Belgium, Germany and Chile are each audited on a yearly basis; this year, all received their highest scores to date. BENEO plants in Oreye and Offstein also received high scores, with Oreye rated at 97% and Offstein at 99.89%.
