Innovation in action is a hallmark of the SupplySide West trade show. The SupplySide CPG Editor's Choice Awards recognizes some of the coolest new launches of consumer packaged goods (CPG) products in nearly 30 categories.

The multivitamin category is important because multis are the gateway supplement for most mainstream consumers. According to the Council for Responsible Nutrition's annual survey, 76 percent of American adults—more than 170 million—take supplements, while nearly all of them—75 percent—have taken a multivitamin in the past year. What's equally notable is that 10 years ago, in 2008, only 64 percent of American adults reported taking supplements. So the idea of filling nutrient gaps and providing for more optimal nutrition is catching on. That makes these new multivitamin entrants so important, because they are filling a need, and doing it with quality and convenience.

One winner in each of the nearly 30 categories will be announced on the SupplySide Central Stage at SupplySide West 2018, held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The supplement winners will be revealed Thursday, Nov. 8, from 1:30 to 2 p.m., followed by the food and beverage winners on Friday, Nov. 9, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Click the following link to learn more about the networking event or to register for SupplySide West

A display case showcasing all the finalists’ products will be available in the Expo Hall. Click the following link for a full list of ECA categories and finalists.
