NSF: Red Bull OK for Sport

ANN ARBOR, Mich.--NSF International (www.nsf.org) announced Santa Monica, Calif.-based Red Bull® Energy Drink completed all requirements for the NSF Athletic Banned Substances Certification Program (NSF Certified for Sport), making it the first company to meet those standards. Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Sugar Free underwent a formulation and label review, toxicology review and lab analysis for label contents and banned substances, and the corporate facility was inspected for adherence to cGMPs (good manufacturing practices).
