Coenzyme Q10 (Coq10) is a common ingredient in supplements and personal care products, and newer manufacturing technologies are allowing it to show up more in functional foods and beverages. Still, the CoQ10 market is challenged by U.S. patent disputes and consumer concerns over low bio availability. In product development, manufacturers must use the correct form to suit their delivery mechanism and employ ways to increase absorption.
