CLEARFIELD, Utah--Albion Laboratories Inc. will introduce a new calcium ingredient at SupplySide West. Its tentative name is Buffered Calcium Amino Acid Chelate. According to the company, it is 26-percent elemental calcium and has an approximate absorption rate of 35 percent, which it said is more than calcium citrate or carbonate.
In related company news, two studies are presently taking place.
