(www.renaissanceherbs.com) will introduce new deliverymodalities and uses for hydroxycitric acid (HCA) under an exclusive licensingagreement with Glykon Technologies Group LLC, according to Renaissance Herbs;Glykon holds the rights to make claims regarding HCAs impact on insulin andblood sugar regulation (Syndrome X), leptin and glucocorticoid modulation;effects on bone mineralization; and regulation of immune function andinflammation. The agreement includes 13 U.S. patents and patents pending, andadditional proprietary technology, according to Renaissance.
