Cancer Center Supports Calcium D-Glucarate

DENVER--The AMC Cancer Research Center, based here, has announced its support of Calcium D-Glucarate as a detoxifying agent that may prevent cancer. Thomas Slage, Ph.D., the president of AMC Cancer Research Center, said in a release that "calcium D-glucarate is a very beneficial step towards detoxification." Calcium D-Glucarate is a patented form of glucaric acid and is supplied by Glucona America.

In addition to recommending use of the compound, AMC will be testing samples of CalciumD-Glucarate to ensure quality assurance standards are met. Sean Traci, director of Glucona America, said, "Having AMC Cancer Research Center recommend the CalciumD-Glucarate that we supply reinforces its value as a detoxification agent," and added that Glucona and AMC plan to patrol the use of the ingredient and its patents.
