Soft Gel Expands QC Lab

LOS ANGELES--Soft Gel Technologies, Inc. (SGTI) will expand its Quality Control (QC)laboratory facilities. The lab will be three times the size of the existing facility andwill house a separate Microbiology Laboratory, which will be used for rawmaterial/finished product assays and stability.

According to the company, the expanded facility will also contain HPLC, gaschromatography, atomic absorption and capillary electrophoreses along with the stabilitytesting apparatus.

In conjunction with the facility expansion, the SGTI QC team will be expanded. JohnWright, SGTI general manager, reported the staff will double by year's end.
