Kendle To Hold Labeling Seminars

ROCKVILLE, Md.Kendle (formerly AAC Consulting Group) will offertwo-day seminars on dietary supplement labeling compliance in June and July inSalt Lake City and Baltimore, respectively.Topics slated for coverage in thesessions include health and structure/function claims, Food and DrugAdministration (FDA) label review procedures, statements of identity, ingredientdeclaration and nutrient content.

Instructors will include Elizabeth (Betty) Campbell, senior consultant withthe Regulatory Affairs Group at Kendle (www.aacgroup.com), who served as actingdirector of the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutritions (CFSAN) Officeof Food Labeling, and helped develop current policies on label claims during a35-year career with FDA, prior to joining Kendle; and James Summers, also asenior consultant with Kendles Regulatory Affairs Group, whose previousexperience includes 32 years with FDA, during which he served as supervisoryconsumer safety officer, branch chief in the Office of Food Labeling.
