Healthy Foundation Launches Vitamin Relief USA-Children First Program

LONG BRANCH, N.J.---The Healthy Foundation, in conjunction with Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) and the Long Branch School District, launched the Vitamin Relief USA-Children First program on Oct. 1. The program will provide more than 1,000 children at three elementary schools in the district with a children's chewable multivitamin every day for the school year.

The Healthy Foundation hoped that the program would assist some of the children in overcoming the trauma of the fall attacks in the New York area. "Vitamin supplements from Vitamin Relief USA-Children First will replenish these school children's essential vitamins and micro-nutrients every day," said Dr. Hyla Cass, president of The Healthy Foundation. "It will allow the children to process this tragedy more calmly, and to strengthen their bodies so they can move forward in their growth and development toward a brighter future for themselves and for our nation."
