Across the dietary supplements space, there’s a great interest in promoting quality, building trust and improving the transparency in the supply chain. At the same time, we’ve seen the rise of content marketing as a key platform for conveying information and bringing stakeholders together. The Inside the Bottle program, now in its third year, was developed by New Hope Natural Media—a partner to Natural Products INSIDER—to marry these concepts and help build community around these issues.

In this edition of the Healthy INSIDER Podcast, Heather Granato, vice president of content in Informa’s Global Health & Nutrition Network, speaks with Jessica Rubino, senior content marketing director at New Hope, and Scott Steinford, the executive director of Trust Transparency Consulting. Among the issues they address:

  • Why is it critical for industry to come together and have an informed, active dialogue around issues related to supply chain quality and conscious business?

  • How can content marketing promote the development of supply chain transparency and improve communication among industry stakeholders?

  • What does “trust” truly mean to the dietary supplement industry?
