Selecting which probiotic strain to include in your new product is critical. Consumer expectations are high. Technical and regulatory demands can be complex—hard to understand and to navigate. If you’re not a probiotic-ologist, where do you start? At the beginning, of course! Successfully launching and/or growing a probiotic brand requires a thorough understanding of the entire probiotic development process: strain selection and characterization, clinical trials, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, regulatory requirements, and so much more. It can be overwhelming.
Watch now on demand for a discussion featuring IFF’s Amy Smith, PhD, Global Regulatory Strategy Lead and IPA President; and Mark Haupt, MD, Chief Medical Officer. In this webinar they’ll share their perspectives on key points to consider when developing and launching probiotic products.
