Last week, on Feb. 4, Food Product Design attended a seminar held by the Cactus Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in Tempe, Ariz. The seminar, called "Misinformation & Misperception of Food Science & What IFT is Doing About It," divulged some of the biggest myths surrounding the food industry and how these myths come about. The presentation was led by John Ruff, former IFT president.
