CRN Appoints 7 New Board Directors, 3 Committee Chairs

WASHINGTONDietary supplement trade organization the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) appointed seven new board directors and three committee chairs.

New members to CRN's board of directors include Mark Hartman, Banner Life Sciences; Connie Hallquist, Healthy Directions, LLC; Mark LeDoux, Natural Alternatives International, Inc.; Bret Scholtes, Omega Protein/Nutegrity; Jennifer Spalding, Abbott Nutrition; Steve Strickland, Sensient Pharmaceutical Coating Systems; and James Watson, Watson Inc.

The organization also appointed three new committee chairs:

Michael Lelah, NOW Foods, and Haresh Madeka, BASF Corporation, will continue to lead the Regulatory Affairs Committee, as will John Venardos, Herbalife, Ltd., with the International Trade and Market Development Committee.
