Alpha Plastics Buys Gutmann Plastics

ST. LOUIS--Alpha Plastics (www.alphaplastic.com) purchased Gutmann Plastics, located in Brooklyn, N.Y. The acquisition should give Alpha greater access to Northeastern markets, additional extrusion and injection blow molding capacity,and a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing/warehouse facility on the East Coast. Alpha estimates that with the acquisition, its annual sales will top $27 million.
