A supplement brand may choose to work with a contract manufacturer to reduce the overhead costs associated with manufacturing, to help secure a quality supply chain, to help ensure regulations are followed and/or to get products in consumers’ hands as fast as possible. But to ensure the product is a long-term success, brands need to award its contract manufacturer with loyalty and transparent communication, even if the public never learns the manufacturer behind their favorite supplement.
