InstantGMP, CRN, Others Offer Upcoming Educational Events

Key nutrition and manufacturing professionals from InstantGMP, the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) and the American Conference Institute (ACI) have announced informative events geared toward education from experts in their fields.

First, InstantGMP will team up with consultant Marian Boardley and present their webinar, “Tips for GMP Compliant Master Batch Records," on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. EST. In addition to general advice, compliance experts will share real incidents to illustrate common issues with master batch records and how to solve them.

Also, ACI and CRN announced Steve Mister, president and CEO of CRN, and Scott Bass, partner with Sidley Austin, LLP will co-chair ACI’s third annual Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements June 24 and 25, 2015, at The Carlton Hotel in New York City. The forum will feature prominent counsel and regulatory experts representing the dietary supplements industry and offer a comprehensive guide on the latest legal and regulatory developments affecting products intended to supplement the diet.

Finally, The Council for Responsible Nutrition-International (CRN-I) opened registration for its sixth annual symposium on November 20, 2015, in Kronberg, Germany. The symposium, “Nutrient Reference Value – Non-Communicable Disease (NRV-NCD) Endpoints: A case for both essential and non-essential nutrients," will feature keynote speakers including Joanne Lupton, Ph.D., Texas A&M University and Jeffrey Blumberg, Ph.D., Tufts University.

CRN-I’s symposium content will expand on topics previously addressed and summarized in published international journals and found on the CRN-I website. The symposium also coincides with the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) meeting November 23 to 27, 2015, in Bad Soden, Germany.
