MIGDAL HA'EMEQ, Israel—Enzymotec launched its new fish oil-based product Omega PC, which contains omega-3 fatty acids bound to phospholipids and triglycerides.

Omega PC is a wild, cold fish extract, with benefits ranging from better absorption to higher accumulation of omega-3 fatty acids compared to current fish oils. The omega-3 oil in Omega PC better represents the omega-3 oil in wild cold water fish because it contains omega-3 fatty acids bound to both triglycerides and phospholipids. The new product also helps to reduce fishy burps.

In addition to these benefits, previous research shows people who consume a diet high in omega-3 fatty acids may have larger brain volumes in old age.
