Mannatech Gets Singapore Patent for GI-ProBalance

COPPELL, Texas The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore granted Mannatech Incorporated (NASDAQ: MTEX) a patent for technology related to its GI-ProBalance product. The United States will first see this synbiotic product during Mannatechs annual international conference, MannaFest 2011, held March 10 to March 12 in Dallas.

The GI-ProBalance product is a yogurt-flavored powder packaged in portable slimsticks. It is designed to stimulate immune function, support proper digestion and gastrointestinal (GI) tract function, and improve nutrient absorption. The probiotic and prebiotic supplement was specifically formulated to work synergistically with Mannatechs flagship Ambrotose® products. GI-ProBalance slimsticks have already been introduced to the Asian and Australia/New Zealand markets.
