BioActives Receives Policosanol Patent

WORCESTER, Mass.BioActives LLC received a patent for its MicroActive^® water-dispersible policosanol complex, derived from sugarcane wax. This sustained-release product promotes cholesterol benefits and heart health, and its water-dispersible feature increases its bioavailability, according to BioActives.

This product is just one of BioActives' sustained-release MicroActive products. The company also supplies MicroActive CoQ10 , MicroActive Oligonol and MicroActive Resveratrol. BioActives partnered with Maypro Industries in New York to distribute the products.
