Pure-Gar Changes Name

CHATSWORTH, Calif.--Pure-Gar, raw materials supplier of garlic and vegetablepowders for the dietary supplement industry, has changed its name to"Essentially Pure Ingredients." The name change was the result of thecompany supplying ingredients other than garlic.

"For several years, Pure-Gar has made a name for itself supplyingnutraceutical garlic powder," said Mary Hasrouni, national sales manager."Continuing to use Pure-Gar's name would lead people to believe that garlicis all we provide."

In addition to the name change, Essentially Pure Ingredients has added a newsales team. The new national sales manager, Mary Hasrouni, will be overseeing agroup of regional sales managers. They are Rowan Dill, regional sales managerfor the east coast; Maricela Centeno, regional sales manager for the west coast;and Dorothy Cannon, regional sales manager for the mountain states region.
