According to "Canadean United States of America Soft Drinks Market Insights," May 2016, water’s share of per capita soft drink consumption is up dramatically over the past decade. Water (of all types) has actually taken market share from carbonated soft drinks (CSDs), although the latter remain a market force in their own right.
