PHOENIX--Aloe Splash Inc. introduced a soft drink made from 10 percent aloe vera juice.The drink, called Aloe Splash, is fortified with vitamin C. The company touts the productas a "new age" beverage. It is positioned to compete in that category, based onthe benefits of aloe.

"Most people don't realize that over 60 percent of the world's consumption of aloevera is taken internally," said Aloe Splash president Steve Dymand. "People havebeen benefiting from aloe vera for thousands of years and it is not just for rubbing onyour skin."
