Plant-based eating is nothing new, but with each passing year, it moves more into the mainstream. Increased attention to personal health, coupled with growing concerns over the planet and animal well-being, have pushed plant-based out of niche territory and into the spotlight. From dairy alternatives to meat analogues and more, plant-based can be found everywhere from McDonald’s to “Shark Tank.” Smart brands can use winning strategies to continue to delight consumers.

This session will cover:

  • Consumer attitudes toward plant-based eating, including flexitarian, as non-vegetarian/vegan consumers turn to plant-based offerings

  • Novel formats and ingredients in the plant-based space, from dairy and meat analogues to snacks, bakery and more

  • The future of plant-based and where the market will go from here
