CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif . — Best Formulations (www.bestformulations.com) announced production of VGel™, patent-pending carrageenan and starch blend softgels from FMC BioPolymer. VGel is the first commercially viable, non-animal, vegetarian softgel. The new softgels exhibit the same characteristics as animal-based gelatin without the brittleness and fillvolume limitations of other vegetarian softgels.
