Lallemand Creates New Probiotics Division

MONTREALLallemand launched its newest division, Lallemand Health Solutions (LHS), to focus on international probiotic offerings. The new business entity consolidates Institut Rosell and Harmonium International, which have nearly a century of experience in probiotic selection, development, production and marketing.

Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, LHS offers a line of ready-to-market probiotic formulas, including Lacidofil, Probiokid, Protecflor and Probio'stick, which won of NuW Excellence Award for Health, Immunity and Digestion Innovation of the Year in November 2012. The company can also develop custom formulations.
