Cargill recently invested $5.5 million to expand its Food Innovation Center in Plymouth, Minnesota. The renovated facility now houses 55 of its food scientists—in oils and shortenings, texturizing solutions and bakery/snacks/cereal applications—along with state-of-the-art equipment and resources, to provide ingredient expertise to food and beverage product developers in a range of food categories.
