BASF Nutrition & Health, will showcase innovative delivery formats with ingredients essential for healthy aging at SupplySide West on Oct. 4 to 8 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

As the exclusive sponsor of the SupplySide West Education Program for the 14th year, BASF is also encouraging the 14,000 attendees to take advantage of events featuring leaders in their fields.

Helfrick explained that the relationship between form and function directly impacts the success of dietary supplements, especially those targeting older adults.

Dr. Welch will offer insights on new dietary ingredients notifications, good manufacturing practices compliance, warning letters, joint actions taken with federal and state regulators, and more. Michael Pariza, PhD, Emeritus Director, Food Research Institute, University of Wisconsin-Madison, will share conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) research discovered in his lab and how findings can support products to safely and effectively reduce body fat and build lean muscle. Separate registration is required for his workshop: “Strategies for Successfully Navigating the Weight Management Market" on Oct. 5 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm in South Seas F. A special panel will discuss new insights industry is taking to enhance self-regulatory initiatives and develop more robust traceability and transparency systems across the supply chain.
