A 2010 randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled study reported potential hair growth promotion effect of palm tocotrienol complex (EVNol SupraBio™) in subjects experiencing on-going hair loss. In that study, volunteers supplemented with 100mg mixed-tocotrienol complex daily experienced an average of 34.5% increase in hair count, whereas the placebo group experienced 0.1% reduction[1].
