BOSTON—Jungbunzlauer will be showcasing its version of a mineral fortified recovery drink at SupplySide West Oct. 8 to 9, 2014, in Las Vegas.
The drink focuses on supporting energy, performance, endurance and hydration, and is fortified with calcium lactate gluconate, trimagnesium citrate, tripotassium citrate and zinc citrate.
According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), calcium and magnesium contribute to regular muscle function and to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. Magnesium also provides electrolyte balance, and reduces tiredness and fatigue. Zinc supports the immune system and enables optimized nutrient metabolism while contributing to the normal protein synthesis.
Jungbunzlauer will be at booth #16108 on Oct. 8 to 9, 2014 at SupplySide West, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.
Last year, Jungbunzlauer supported a study on the effectiveness of zinc citrate absorption.
