FISHER BRANCH, Manitoba--Polar Foods is now offering Promega Flaxseed Oil with 70 percent omega-3, alpha linolenic acid content. The oil preserves the traditional balance of the other fatty acids in flaxseed oil--omega-6 linolenic and omega-9 oleic--with a decrease in saturated palmitic fat, the company said. According to Polar Foods([email protected]), the oil is guaranteed free of genetically modified organisms and available in organic and natural varieties.
