Merck to Market Reduced Folates

MOBILE, Ala.--Merck KGaA of Darmstadt, Germany reached an exclusive licensing agreementwith the South Alabama Medical Science Foundation to market naturally-occurring reducedfolates worldwide. Hawthorne, N.Y.-based EM Industries, a United States affiliate ofMerck, will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the folates in the UnitedStates.
