WHITSETT, N.C.—Qualicaps will showcase one of its fully automated capsule-filling machines, the JCF-40, at SupplySide West.
The machine uses an auger filling system that is able to handle powders with a wide range of physical properties. This enables powders to be filled that cannot be processed on plug-forming or vibration-filling machines.
The JCF-40 also features a rotary rectification system, automatic elimination of capsules that are not joined, capsule separation, feeding and filling formulations, fill weight adjustment, capsule re-joining, capsule discharge and a cleaner. The machine can process 40,000 capsules per hour.
