"They have each helped to create reliable resources for the trade by developing innovative approaches to presenting news, information and education, and by maintaining ongoing and personal relationships with the industry."
The VIRGO team members who will receive a 2014 AHPA Visionary Award include Natasha Weaver, J.D., event manager and education manager, VIRGO's health & nutrition network; Sandy Almendarez, editor in chief, Natural Products INSIDER; Heather Granato, vice president of content, VIRGOs health & nutrition network; Dana Hicks, senior vice president and director, SupplySide; Jon Benninger, vice president, VIRGO's health & nutrition network and John Siefert, CEO, VIRGO.

The 2014 AHPA Awards will be presented during AHPA's annual Member Meeting and Breakfast on March 6 at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA.
Founded in 1982, AHPA is the oldest of the nonprofit organizations that specializes in service to the herbal industry. AHPAs annual award program was established in 2006, and acknowledges individuals and organizations that make substantive, positive contributions to the herbal products industry.
