One of the highlights of the recent International Conference  on the Science of Botanicals (ICSB), an annual event hosted by the National Center for Natural Products Research (NCNPR), was a presentation on new kava research by Chris Xing, Ph.D., an assistant professor of medicinal chemistry at the University of Minnesota. INSIDER TV talked to Dr. Xing about what this new knowledge could mean for the kava supplement market. He discusses the difference between cultivars and highlights some of the key study results that show the right kind of kava is safe for regular consumption.
