Gadot Receives Environmental Award

HAIFA BAY, Israel—In the third annual ranking of public companies for environmental transparency, Adam Teva V’Din—the Israel Union for Environmental Defense (IUED)—placed Gadot Biochemical Ind. Ltd. in third place. The report ranks companies based on their disclosure and level of transparency related to environmental activities in their annual reports.

“We are very proud of being in the top tier of the Environmental Transparency report,” said Ronny Hacham, vice president of business development and marketing at Gadot. “This award clearly demonstrates Gadot’s long term commitment to environmental protection. Gadot intends to invest an additional US$2 million in environmental protection programs during 2009-2010.”
