Food Labeling/Health Claims Conference Scheduled

WASHINGTON--A Food Labeling and Health Related Claims Conference will be held Jan. 27 to 28 at the Wyndham Washington D.C. The conference will be keynoted by Peter Barton Hutt, former chief counsel to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Topics to be addressed include an industry forecast and update, targeting the nutraceuticals consumer, fortified foods, marketing and structure/function claims. Two workshops will be held that review recent developments in regulation.
