Kalsec Promotes Scott Nykaza to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

KALAMAZOO, MIScott Nykaza, Ph.D., of Kalamazoo, MI, has been named as the new executive vice president of sales and marketing, for Kalsec®, Inc. Nykaza replaces Gary Hainrihar, who has been appointed executive vice president, business development for Kalsec. In this newly developed role, Hainrihar will oversee the Hops Products business unit, development of the nutritional products, and market development in Latin American and Asia. Nykaza is charged with developing and leading strategy and execution for sales and marketing at Kalsec.

Kalsecs entry into nutritional products was marked by the launch of ZeaGoldTM, Natural Zeaxanthin early last year. Kalsec has been a leader in the specialty hop extract business for more than 20 years and is the holder of numerous patents related to hops processing and the application of hop extract to brewing processes.

Nykaza brings with him an extensive portfolio of management experience in both sales and marketing and procurement. Most recently Nykaza was vice president of procurement for Kalsec.
