ISP Names Sally Romano Director of Sales, Marketing, Technical Services

WAYNE, NJInternational Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Romano to director, sales, marketing and technical services for food and beverage, North America, effective immediately. She reports directly to Cathie Joy, vice president, sales and marketing, North America.

In addition to her role in North America, Romano will be a member of ISP's Global Food and Hydrocolloids Leadership Team, with responsibility for accelerating the growth of the company's food and beverage business worldwide through new business development and through acquisition and alliance opportunities.

A well-respected veteran of the food industry with expertise in all aspects of fructooligosaccharides, Romano comes to ISP from Sensus America LLC, Monmouth Junction, NJ, where she was vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility at Avebe Americas Inc., Princeton, NJ, and at National Starch, Bridgewater, NJ. A native of New Zealand, she began her career as a product manager at NZ Starch Products Ltd., Auckland.

Romano holds a B.S. in Food Technology from Massey University, Palmerston, New Zealand, and an M.B.A. with a major in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. In addition, she is affiliated with the Institute of Food Technology.
