A recently published clinical study shows that Go-Less (developed by Frutarom Health BU) is an effective natural ingredient that helps improve the quality of life in women by reducing the symptoms of an overactive bladder (Journal of Functional Foods, 2014, 8(0): p. 111-117).
The placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial, conducted at Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, South Korea and supported by Frutarom Health BU, Switzerland, included 120 women suffering from overactive bladder. The women, between the ages of 35 and 70, took 500 mg of Go-Less or matching placebo twice a day during a 12-week period. The average frequency of nocturia (waking up at night to urinate) decreased by 30 percent. After week 12, a significant decrease of the daily average frequency of urination was reported. There was also a substantial decrease in the average urgency score in the Go-Less group.
The functionality of Go-Less was also confirmed by a survey on the subjective satisfaction of the participants, as conducted at the end of the trial period. More than 90 percent of the subjects in the Go-Less group found the product helpful and answered affirmatively when asked if they would like to continue taking the study product. This compares to about 50 percent in the placebo group.
Go-Less is a proprietary blend of water-soluble pumpkin seed extract (EFLA 940) and the soy germ extract, SoyLife.
