Phase 2 Cr® Campaign Goes National

KEARNY, N.J.—Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. launched a comprehensive national consumer marketing campaign to increase demand for its Phase 2 Cr® with Foodbound™ chromium. Pharmachem is working with Lobo & Petrocine on the ad campaign, which will launch in late 2007, and with Media Relations Inc. on the national media relations program. The campaign will include culinary demonstrations on food applications of Phase 2 (www.Phase2Info.com) at media and industry events, and major book tours by Harry G. Preuss, M.D., author of The Natural Fat Loss Pharmacy, and pharmacist Sherry Torkos, author of The Glycemic Index Made Simple.

“We will continue our highly successful consumer media relations effort, and, for the first time, will be implementing a consumer advertising campaign around our new, patented Phase 2,” said Mitch Skop, director of new product development. “New trade ads announcing the campaign to retailers will begin appearing in September, enabling them to stock up on products containing Phase 2 in order to meet anticipated consumer demand.” Natrol Inc., Chatsworth, Calif., is the first branded product company to include the patented Phase 2 Cr ingredient in a dietary supplement, Natrol’s reformulated Carb Intercept.
