Helios' Transport C-PLUS Launches in New Beverage Formula

SANTA FE, N.M.Function Please LLC launched Helios CORP's TransportC-PLUS® product in a new beverage formula called Immunity Please, which provides consumers with the benefits of vitamin C.

Function Please has virtually no label claims, and instead, it depends on the performance that TransportC-PLUS provides to the users by linking to the benefits consistently noted in reference points related to 18 published vitamin C studies. TransportC-PLUS provides the science and performance to maximize the benefits of virgin vitamin C, within vitro and also human in vivo evaluations.

Virgin vitamin C can be almost fully discharged into the kidneys in 45 to 75 minutes, depending on body mass and metabolism. However, TransportC-PLUS has demonstrated a better performance and stays in the body longer.

Helios and its partners developed a multi-variation global patent that defined various combinations built around the notion that alpha lipoic acid (ALA) would enhance or extend the availability of vitamin C in the blood stream, allowing vitamin C to transport into various storage cell groups at a significantly faster rate. This helps avoid most of the oxidative stress to the vitamin C, and it also avoids a significant discharge of vitamin C via the kidneys.
