Cyvex NutritionInc. introduced LactoCalcium for the dietary supplement and functional foodmarkets. The product provides between 20-percent and 28-percent calcium, plusother naturally occurring minerals from milk. According to Cyvex (www.cyvex.com), 1,000 mg of LactoCalcium contains as much calcium as one cup ofmilk in a 2-to-1 ratio with phosphorous to maximize calcium absorption. It isavailable in granulated and micro-milled forms.
