LOS ANGELES--Trademark status has been granted toOptiPure/ Chemco Industries Inc. for its calcium product, Calcite Super^®. This ingredient is an oral calcium supplement made from a polysaccharide and calcium citrate process that is patented in Japan. According to OptiPure (www.optipure.com), the ingredient has been shown in clinical studies to increase bone density and have a higher absorption rate than calcium alone.
