NeoCell Partners With Walgreens to Benefit Vitamin Angels

IRVINE, Calif.—NeoCell and Walgreens have partnered to help raise money for the nonprofit Vitamin Angels, whichprovides children around the world with essential nutrients.

Until the end of the year, NeoCell will donate 1 percent of the retail value of all its products sold at Walgreens stores to Vitamin Angels. Additionally, NeoCell will also run its annual fall campaign to raise money for Vitamin Angels; the company has raised more than $260,000 for Vitamin Angels since they began a partnership, which was enough to help more than one million at-risk mothers and children get the essential nutrients they need.

According to Vitamin Angels, about 45 percent of all child deaths worldwide are caused by malnutrition, and millions more will never reach their full physical or mental potential. Many of these children could be saved and their lives improved through supplementation. The non-profit says it can provide a young child with all the vitamin A he or she needs for an entire year for 25 cents.
